Title: Camping at InZane XXV Post by: BudMan on November 05, 2024, 02:02:11 PM Good morning Campers!
I know the location just came out, but it's never too early to find a good spot to camp. Do any members living in the area know the camping situation? I'll investigate all I can find and post all data on them EXCEPT the distance from GZ. In place of that, all distances I post will be from the Google "location" for Lewisburg, WV. That appears to be the intersection of Washington and Jefferson Streets at about the center of downtown Lewisburg. That area is the ancestral home of the Hamman/Hammond/Hammann family. (Spelling in those days was a bit "fluid". :) Lewisburg is about 35 miles from the Mill owned and operated by my G3 Grandfather. The Mill is still there and was in full operation until the mid-1960s. I'd be glad to lead a ride there for any interested folks. This is gonna be GREAT! I did several "site selection" searches on their site and did not find it too crowded with permanent "campers" as I was led to believe from the comments. We will be in site #22 from the 7th till the 15th. If you're in the neighborhood drop in!
