Title: Re: lost bike Post by: Brad on July 01, 2011, 10:31:41 AM Smells bad...."it has the alloy wheels"....anyone who is the rightful owner of a Valk knows that they all come that way. :)
Title: Re: lost bike Post by: Paxton on July 01, 2011, 06:02:10 PM "Never assume the obvious is true...." IF it has less then say, 45K miles I think the price is reasonable ... One could offer to do a title search at your or his expense.
I'd say to the seller, if everything is "clean" on the title, I split the cost of the search. If the title is "dirty," you (Seller) pay for the title search and I give you $3500 for the bike. Back in March I purchased a stripped-down 2000 Black standard w/35,XXX miles. Looks like new. Paid $4500... have spent almost $2K dressing it up! Well worth it. I love it. Yesterday I completed the first 1K miles of riding it since purchase. Here are some "Then and now" photos. https://picasaweb.google.com/103917731019176896112/DRAGONFLYEvolves?authkey=Gv1sRgCLKr9dy88LS0owE "If only they would all just leave me alone with my old cars and my motorcycles, I would be content to let life, and the world pass me by" Title: Re: lost bike Post by: RainMaker on July 01, 2011, 07:16:28 PM WOW!
