Title: Re: TEXAS Post by: Lyn-Del on August 19, 2012, 04:11:56 PM The game was good. The crowd was disappointingly small ..... then about half of those left at half time. Why drive to the game, go through the hassel of parking, the long hike into the building, etc., arriving after kickoff and leaving at the half?
More left at the end of the 3rd quarter. Sure made getting out of the parking lot easy after the game was over! Just one question ...... where can WE buy some officials? Seems every other team brings their own to the game. Title: Re: TEXAS Post by: mario on August 19, 2012, 08:53:29 PM The game was good. The Astros fans do the same thing. I've never got that. Dah Bears! Title: Re: TEXAS Post by: Joevalk on August 20, 2012, 10:04:39 AM Dah bears? No more replies for you!!!!!

The Astros fans do the same thing. I've never got that. Houston sports fans in general have a bad reputation for a number of reasons, that being one. Of course, it's not as bad as Los Angeles. Dodger "fans" show up in the 3rd, are gone by the 6th, and spend the time in between those points batting around beach ball, looking for celebrities, or heading to the food stands. The exceptions to this 3rd-6th rule include a large contingent of hooligans who are only there to start fights with fans of the visiting team. Can you tell we loved our time in California (or as I prefer to call it, "time in exile")? Mark Title: Re: TEXAS Post by: mario on August 20, 2012, 03:12:18 PM Dah bears?
