Title: DFW June Dinner Meeting Post by: Valkpilot on June 04, 2014, 09:57:03 AM Since the meeting falls during Inzane and the DFW crowd tends to represent in large numbers at Inzane, I'm going to make an executive decision to push our regularly scheduled, 2nd Thursday of the month meeting to the 3rd Thursday.
So, our irregularly scheduled meeting this month with be on Thursday, June 18 at 7:00 pm (1900 for the Gunny) at a location TBD. Those who went Inzane can mesmerize us with stories of their conquests, comraderie, and debauchery: Dragons subdued, women & children stampeded, and cattle raped. Sounds like somebody running for the presidential position here. :coolsmiley: Title: Re: DFW June Dinner Meeting Post by: Christbiker on June 14, 2014, 09:07:21 AM Don't even start Mr. Tom. I don't make enough meetings as it is. You, however, have presidential written all over your face.

Title: Re: DFW June Dinner Meeting Post by: Bosman on June 18, 2014, 07:58:37 AM +2 for Blue Goose Plano!
Title: Re: DFW June Dinner Meeting Post by: Valkpilot on June 18, 2014, 01:56:37 PM Sounds like the Blue Goose gets the nod. Tom's right, it is always noisy. We may end up swapping lies in the parking lot after dinner rather than around the table.
Buzzkill, will you call and try and arrange a large table if there's not a separate area? Thanks. Title: Re: DFW June Dinner Meeting Post by: BuzzKill on June 18, 2014, 07:22:20 PM They dont do reservations. They said they could sit our party when at least half the people are there. I know that area gets busy sometimes, does anyone who goes in that area alot at that time know if we would we be waiting a while? I would assume 10-15 people.

Title: Re: DFW June Dinner Meeting Post by: Valkpilot on June 19, 2014, 09:42:18 PM Despite the rather haphazard organization of this month's meeting by yours truly, we had a decent turnout.
Buzzkill Bosman Houdini, Misty & Maryann BnB Tom Brew1brew and his wife Daniel Disco Sidecar were all in attendance. Tom won the 50/50 drawing and we added some bucks to the treasury. Buzzkill tells me it's grown dramatically, which means he's not funneling money into the officers' pockets with near the zeal of a properly corrupt administration. We also identified a potential As I was parking my bike, a couple leaving the restaurant came over and started talking about the bikes. They just moved here from California and his Valkyrie is being shipped here soon. It's kind of a special bike: It's a Tourer and was owned by Progressive Suspension before he acquired it. He used it in his daily 80 mile round trip commute. His name is Craig. We exchanged e-mail addresses and I've already sent him links to the VRCC main page and the forums. Hopefully he'll log in soon and introduce himself. |
