Title: Had a nice visit with Big Lou today.
Post by: BigMac (SoCal) on June 25, 2014, 05:23:55 PM
He and Rose are doing fine. There is the process of buying a home in Hemet. He just got a Galaxy 5 smart  phone and I tried to help him with that for a bit. That may or may not be my next phone. He's doing well and while I was there Wayne called me so we talked to him for a bit. Wayne had a great idea that when the weather cools down we have a sort of reunion and get together with some of our old friends that we haven't seen in a while.

This is the first chance I've had to comment as Helen and I just got back from the Spyder Owner's Event in Durango, CO. Funny thing is that my Spyder was in the shop  :tickedoff: and we rode up on the Valk.

Anyway, my comment is that Lou is probably the nicest, most generous person it has ever been my pleasure to meet. I would be more than happy to attend a reunion, count me in!

Make sure you add Rose to that list of wonderful people. I'm in for a reunion too!

Couldn't agree more about Big Lou and Rose! They are wonderfully kind, generous, and gracious folks. Last ride I remember with Big Lou was at the Inzane Rally in Frisco, CO where I met up with him and John G. Big Lou's Valkyrie won best of show that year, as I recall, along with him receiving several other awards. He really was the star of Inzane's closing ceremonies dinner at the Copper Mt. Resort that year, and, as far as I'm concerned, it couldn't have happened to a more deserving person. Big Lou is ever faithful to keep in touch with me, and we always have a good talk, but I haven't seen him for a few years now.  A reunion sounds like a great idea!.....Thanks Dave...rick
