Title: Noisy Trasmission
Post by: Adirondack Bill on December 05, 2015, 11:42:12 AM
Has anyone noticed their transmission get noisier after about 3,000 miles?  I am not talking the shaft drive in the rear, I am talking about up front. The last ride I took before putting her away for the winter, the normal little whine from the transmission was noticeably louder. I could even feel it a little in the foot pegs. My oil is fine- full synthetic. This bikes engine and workings have always been so quiet. Maybe I am just imagining things.

I have 5500 miles on mine and the noises have changed in frequency and type but now all seems to be much better like it settled in.

3500 miles or so...shifting sounds *different* from when I first got it...but it feels awesome and shifts positively...much better then my previous Hondas..

They really built that bike well man...I'm proud to own and ride it. :cooldude: 8)
