Title: 99 Valkyrie in auction SOLD at Auction Post by: Christbiker on January 13, 2016, 02:50:52 PM As some of you know, I am a member of CMA. Most chapters hold an auction to raise money for
our ministries. I am including my '99 standard with 34500 miles in the auction with a reserve of only $3200.00 Any amount over $3200 will go towards CMA. Extras are LeatherLyke hard bags, windscreen with triple pouch, velocity stacks, full Corbin seat set, new battery, carbs just done by JC Cycles in Celina. Auction will be held at Bill Smiths Cafe in McKinney on February 1st beginning at 6:30 PM. PM sent Woody, why don't you post some pics here instead of PM'ing them? They may still be uploading. Where he lives in Misarklahoma, they don't have broadband. He has to print the pictures at full resolution, tear them into little pieces, strap the pieces eight-at-a-time to a trained box turtle and send them to the local Telco that way. This 8-bit transfer rate is horribly slow, so he's training another terrapin in order to at least have bisynchronous communication with the Telco. Contrary to what VP (what a meanie) stated I do have something that resembles the internet here in the peaceful splendor of country living. I have revised post to include photos for your viewing pleasure and for proof. Blessings, Woody Title: Re: 99 Valkyrie in auction Post by: Valkpilot on January 16, 2016, 05:14:57 PM Sounds great! Unless you look really close, you can't even see the seams where the bits were reassembled. Seriously, you've put up a generous donation. You're a good man. Title: Re: 99 Valkyrie in auction REVISED w/photos Post by: Christbiker on January 16, 2016, 06:33:25 PM Kind words Thanks This post in no way was intended for bragging purposes yet merely to inform my non-CMA Valkyrie Brothers and Sisters of the auction. Just want to make that clear.
