Title: Will be in Daytona for 3 weeks in April. Post by: Moofner on March 25, 2016, 06:41:43 PM Hiyo all!
I live in Panhandle area but will be in Daytona 3 weeks for some school at Embry-Riddle. I'm in a mad scramble to install new lights on my new Valk and reinstall everything for the trip. Any places worth hitting on the bike? I need to clock some more miles and my weekends will be free. Title: Re: Will be in Daytona for 3 weeks in April. I will be going to Port St. Joe the weekend of the 9th for a fishing trip ! Have a safe trip and let us know when you are in the area. :cooldude:

I think the best breakfast place is Ultimate Omelet on Ridgewood. just north of Bevel [400]. most like "the loop", go on north beach & follow it. last time I did it the roads had lots of construction going on, don't know if it's over? nice ride down Rt. 1 to Titusville & around the Refuge. also 44 west to 42 to 19 N to 40 E to Rt. 1. nice circle. 42 has nice sweepers & can start the other way & spend time in Deland. nice town. don't know when we'll be riding, but will post if we are. be safe deb Title: Re: Will be in Daytona for 3 weeks in April. Post by: Pappy! on March 26, 2016, 09:46:33 AM Three Bananas restaurant, in Crescent City. Good ride from Daytona and a cool place.
Shrimp R Us, In Welaka, just a little farther than Crescent City. Corky Bells Restaurant, in Palatka.....great seafood restaurant and good ride. The Landing, in Astor. Upstairs from the Blackwater Inn. Right on the river and not far from you. Title: Re: Will be in Daytona for 3 weeks in April. Post by: Moofner on March 26, 2016, 11:43:40 AM Sweet. The Florida Cracker history exhibit just past 17 on Hwy 40 is a neat place to check out. You will pass it on your way to Astor. :cooldude: |
