I got one on my tourer, so far so good, gives a smooth ride, got about 500 miles on it, I was told to run 36 instead of the usual 40-45 seen around here. They say unlike the oem size it wears better at lower pressure. I'll let you all know. hoser I'll go with the oem size bridgestones on the Interstate and compare, I'mm putting a new set on it before going to Inzane. I've got a BS Excedra on the front of the Tourer.

Don't know about Dyna Beads but I have had nothing but bad experiences with Bridgestones on the Valk ... they were great on my V45 Sabre & 84 Goldwing but I don't think I ever got 10k miles from either the front or rear.
Just my opinion.

I've been running this paired with the Avon Venom. Love this combo I have another one ordered to be paired with the Avon Cobra on the front. Chrome dome is correct, you will be hard pressed to get 10k. I don't care, love the tire love the handling, love the overall ride. You have to pull the rear for a spline lube every 10k anyway. That is my mental reminder, I do a spline lube and rear tire every 10k Never tried the beads, I have only heard good things from those that have tried them.

I have the dyna beads in my rear tire now and they work great. When I change out my front tire they're going in there too.

I had a Battleaxe 200 on my last Interstate (now dead), and a Avon Cobra on the current one. They are both good tires, BUT my impression is that the Battleaxe sticks MUCH better, both on acceleration and braking. I've locked up the Cobra at least twice in "panic" emergency braking. Seems this would suggest the Cobra is a harder compound, and thus will probably wear better. I think I'll go back to a Bridgestone when the Cobra wears out.

Yes, they go in through the valvle stem after the bead is set. Take out the valve stem core and pour them in slowly. It took me about 10 minutes to put 3oz in.
