I destroyed my rear tire on the wing today while riding out here  in the hills. Is there anyone near the Kerrville area that can part with a tire, or know where I can find one on a Sunday? Car tire or motorcycle tire doesn't matter. Just need a tire and a shop to swap it, I can manage getting the wheel off I think. Any assistance is greatly appreciated. Please call me at 817-205-5887 if you can point me in the right direction.

Thanks,
Chris

Chris, can you get to a Pep Boys, Sears, or Wal-Mart and get a 195/55/16 DS?

In addition to VP's advice, Walmart. Lay the Wing down on the right side, you can remove the wheel, good info from Hayhauler, it works.

If you are riding  and it is a must that you keep your eyes on the road, you are riding too fast.

ANOTHER advantage of a single side arm!

Left a message with Jack's Cycles in Ingram last night. He's going to come in and open up to help me out, has a suitable tire.

The Wal  Mart here didnt have the ideal size I needed. They do have 205/55, which.  I found may work, but they won't sell just the one tire once I asked them to mount it. wont do MC rim, so wouldnt sell the tire.

All is well, though. I'll get home. Thanks all for the ideas and advice. Y'all are great.
