If you caught the game last night, you saw probably the best game the Bruins played all year. (best period of the year, was the third against the Hurricanes Tuesday, when the had 4 unanswered goals)
And they did against one of the best teams in the league.
And, they did it w/o 4 of their best.
And, they shut the Lightning out.
And, they closed the gap to 2 points down to tie the Lightning for first overall in the Atlantic and second in the league. Currently in second in Atlantic and third in the league.
Hopefully Bergeron, McAvoy, Chara and Backes all return before the playoffs start.
Great game, and it's amazing how many Bruins fans show up in the other teams houses.
I'm always happy when they get into the extra season.

Don Sweeney, IMHO, was one of the smartest players (Harvard, go figure) ever to strap on skates and he's proving to be an excellent GM. Made some great moves at the trade deadline.
Bruce Cassidy is proving he's no slouch either.
