The leakage test in the service manual says leakage should be less than 0.1mA, but this is for the standard. It doesn't address any keep-alive current for things like a clock or radio, but 500mA seems excessive. I'd say you should hook up a battery tender, and try to find what is drawing all that power.

Just how good is the battery?  Maybe isolate it,  give it a good charge then load test after it rests a  little while.

Sounds to me like a very good battery, since it should be 14Ah, and a 1/2A load for one day would be 12Ah, so it should be dead in just over one day. Of course, going flat like that will weaken any battery, until it IS bad.

Remove fuses one at a time till the draw goes away. Then find out why.

Anything directly connected to the battery? Added accessories? GPS?

there  are  two  things  connected  , a  l.e.d  light and a  security system. those  have  separate eye  hook  connectors, isolated  them  ,the  both  show  no  current  draw. Battery  is  good  tested after  a  full  charge. i;ll  keep  ya  posted , i  will  disconnect  fuses to  pinpoint  the  issue,  i  do  keep  the  bike  on  a  tender since  i found  this  out, tks  bob

With the battery fully charged , disconnect the battery and check the voltage. Leave un hooked for at least 24 hours. No charger or draw. Re check voltage. If lower , internal short. Make sure battery is clean. I have recorded voltage loss across a dirty battery.

Does removing the Audio Main Relay have any effect, with the 15A fuse installed?

it  has  no  effect, it  is  on  a  different circuit i  found  spec  on  a  bike  with  no  radio,  but  nothing  on how  much  the  system  will  draw.i  know  there  should  be some.memory for  clock, radio  presets  and  all  ur  inputs  tks

There should be some minor draw for presets and memory, but 2 amps is WAY too much. As an auto tech, ignition-off draw is measured in milliamps. Allowable used to be around 25mA a few years back, but has been increased due to the insane amount of modules in some vehicles to around 60mA or so (varies by manufacturer). A motorcycle should be far less. Short in the audio unit itself? Any abnormal audio operation?

How new is the bike to you? If the draw is from the audio circuit there might be an amp installed.

And if there is an amp installed, the amps power wire should be connected to a key-on source, not hot all of the time.

Might try checking for a stuck relay.

That's why I asked about the other relay - it provides power to the controls, which should turn the radio on/off. If the relay is inside it, though, maybe tap on the case - the 'old school' percussive maintenance trick.
