I installed unmolested IS exhaust and straight away Sherry and I took off for a nice coffee run, so, for sale is standard exhaust off my 12,000 mile Attic Rat. The piggies are intact however drilled out so it is a tad louder than stock and I like stock!  It is probably not noticeable to others but I notice it.  It also has slash tips.  Nice exhaust with melted sherry boot marks.   I will see if I can clean off.  Anyway $180 takes this nice low mile set all because I have wimpy ears?   I will clean up the other one soon.

You guys have got to stop molesting your pipes.   (some of them aren't even 18 yet)

Perverts.    Grin

----------------------------------
I've also heard oven cleaner works on boot marks (I don't know about hot or cold)

My BombsAway metal polish takes them right off, but it's not in stores.

https://captainrichardsbest.com/index.php/products?page=shop.product_details&category_id=6&flypage=flypage.tpl&product_id=34

People have claimed White Diamond metal polish (which is in stores) is just as good.  I dunno.

Stay away from steel wool.  Even soft OOOO will scratch (actually cloud up) chrome up if you lean on it at all.

I've discovered that rubbing off boot marks when the pipes are hot is easier.  But then you have to treat your burned fingers.   crazy2

I love Tundra's (Doug's ) old bike Jerry.  That thing just pops.  cooldude

I'm confused, I thought that reverse jade/black was Doug's old bike, with a few things taken off and added (seat basket, shield).

The tins are. I have black tins on the 98 tundra bike and the tundra tins on my low mile 2003 Attic Rat bike.

OK, I get it now (obviously could never have guessed).    Smiley

I could swap stuff back and forth between my two back interstates, but how would you know? Grin
Except one is pinstriped and the other has airbrushed blue dragons on the bags

I have swapped the occasional working widget for not-working widget on the bike I want to ride, and will swap seats (Big and Lowboys) once in a while, but that's about it.

My favorite supervalk is near a 100K and all the paint and chrome are fading compared to my trunked bike with 55K which has much nicer everything (both loaded with most of the same chrome and bolt ons), and I've thought about changing them up...... but I'm not.

Yours are both showroom minty.   cooldude

Not trying to mess up your pipe sale here (though it stays at the top).  And since the going price is closer to $350, yours should not last long.

Jerry, in that pic with the young lady....who did the forks and valve covers and what did it cost you. Yeah....being nosey, but might need another project before long, especially if I can sell the 1200. I'll need to change out the fork oil before too long so might be a good time to bump them up a notch.

Forgot to ask....what bike did those valve covers come from?

Sorry I can’t remember cost on fork tubes. Grumpy disassembled and then rebuilt them when PC guy was done. The valve covers I scored on eBay for $150 and they are the Goldwing 1500 40th Anniversary of Honda as a company.
