Saturday April 14 First and Second Amendment at State Capitol

As I mentioned at this week's meeting, there is a rally to support the First and Second Amendments at the State capitol in Austin. I know many of you appreciate that the Second Amendment is what supports and gives teeth to the rest in the Bill of Rights. Your right to keep and bear arms, your right and your wives' and daughters' rights to defend yourselves using the tool of firearms is under major attack throughout the country, including here in Texas. It's time to do something about it and a rally at the capitol is a start and makes a statement.

This Saturday, Second Amendment supporters will be doing the same thing at State capitols throughout the nation. Some will be bigger. Some will be smaller. We're meeting at the Capitol building at 1:00 tomorrow. Come join us and let your voice be heard.

After giving it some thought, I have decided not to count on others to keep this freedom for me and my family and for future generations. Come join us and/or begin to let your voice be heard to your legislators, President and those who don't understand that without the Second Amendment, we have no ability to protect our other rights, including our own lives. We've seen that play out elsewhere and I don't want that here for my grandchildren.
