Hey Fred! It looks like a GL1800 CB antenna will connect, but they mount differently than the ones on the Interstate do. I had one on the bumblebee mounted to a bracket I made that looks like the Valkyrie accessory CB antenna mount, but had holes placed for the 1800 antenna. I've taken all the CB stuff of the bike and don't need anymore. If you know that's what you need or want, great, but it looks like the Interstate CB antenna is still available.

Hmmm... I don't know how it would mount. The 1800 antenna mounts to a bracket that mounts to the side of the trunk.
I mounted the 1800 antenna to a bracket that has the profile of the Standard / Tourer Accessory CB mounting bracket that bolts to the backrest brackets that are attached to the fender struts.
At this stage, I believe you're better off going back with all IS stuff.

Replaced both of my antennas with Goldwing GL1200 CB Antennas new from Honda for approximately $45 each. They work great. Wanted Antennas that would completely fold down to allow my Cocoon cover to fit over my 99 Valkyrie Interstate when hauling it in the back of my F250.
