Velocity stacks....

I bought a set when they came out..
You know the ones... you pick up about 1 to almost 2 HP per cylinder.. ( Over heard at a Bike rally )
But anyways, mine is starting to blister the chrome....
Question...Did you send them off to get re-chromed... Or, did you paint them purple?

If you clean and wax them they won't blister like that. One they get ugly put the OEM caps back on and get them re- chromed

i recently bought a secondhand set of the from someone here in the classifieds. They're overall in really good shape but with a few places where the chrome is flecking off. To try to keep that flecking from spreading, is my best bet a little bit of silver touch-up-paint to seal the area? Thanks

I tried the chrome powder coating and they looked like c..p. So I had them stripped and painted yellow to match my Bumble Bee.
