Goodyear EfficientGrip performance
My new DS tire, Goodyear EfficientGrip performance!
Smooth, very good handling, feels like the Vredestein Sportrac 3 I had before.
The Sportrac had a cooler pattern, but the smooth, "MC-tire-impression" handling is the same!
You can easily see the very rounded shoulders!

Looks good.
It seems that name tire isn't available in the USA

I think this is the first time I've seen anyone post a pic of asymmetric tread dark side tire. Do you notice any difference in feel between left and right turns?

I ran this Yokohama Avid Ascend in a 195/60. Previously all my other tires had been symmetrical. I was a little apprehensive, but it was fine. I couldn't notice any thing amiss.

I can't see why it should matter symmeric or asmymmetric, other than the look
So, no, can say I feel any difference..

If you've been paying attention (over the last several years), lots of guys have been running asymmetrical tread tires, and none have ever reported them being an iota different from symmetrical. The concept of symmetrical over asymmetrical on a single tire seems sound in theory, but in practice it seems not to matter. Maybe on a 400 vs 850 lb bike it might make a difference.
I'd still avoid snow tires and studs, and I'd still try to get a rounded edge.

I would think wet weather riding could be the only real thing affected by this. It is designed to "eject" water out one side, away from your cage. If you were following a bike with a asymmetrical tire it would probably shoot more water out one way than the other. Not sure if it is enough to matter? Anyone follow someone like this in the rain????

Since the inner and outer treads are designed with different characteristics I was curious if there was a perceivable difference in performance.

Maybe a better rider than I could. 20k of miles thru all kinds of roads and terrains I never could.

A buddy of mine rode about 100 miles in torrential rain and didn't have any problems and his tire is way asymmetrical.
