Well said!  cooldude   I would like to see a salary cap to allow other teams get some quality players.  The cash is getting out of hand in the "big cities".   Small market teams struggle to fill seats and rosters they can not compete w/ larger markets....  That is the reason I don't watch much MLB due to outlandish contracts.  That is the reason I like college ball!

Those trophies are costing quite a bit lately!!!  2funny

 HOOOO-RAH  FOR THE YANKEES !!!
Being a life-long Yankee fan  (I'm originally from upstate NY...... and none of my friends were Yankee fans !! )  I really enjoyed the post season.
That being said, I think MLB would benefit from a salary cap of sorts, though it may never happen.  Too many powerful elements don't want it.
