So Ron, George, John, Dennis and me are heading out on June 3rd for our week ride to InZane. We will meet up in Phoenix at 9am for our first leg. We are planning on going down to Big Bend National Park. Gary we haven't heard what your plans are so be sure to let us know. It would be great to hook up with you if possible. It's funny because this year none of us except Gary are riding Valks. John will be on his new 2018 Goldwing, Dennis and I on Goldwing FG6Bs, Ron on his 2017 Goldwing and George will be on his Spider. Doesn't matter as long as good friends get to ride and share the time together. If anyone would like to meet up with us and ride even for a short time would be great. I'll post the Phoenix meeting place as soon as it's finalized.

You are right. It’s about the friends, not the model. See you guys there, if not somewhere on the way.  cooldude

Oops, I made a mistake on the meeting time. It's 9am not 6am.

I think you'll like Big Bend. If memory serves me I think I stayed at The Marathon Motel just due north of the north entrance by about 75 miles. Quaint little place, not a lot of options in Marathon.

It's looking more like I'll be heading out that Friday the 1st just before your Sunday and I don't think I'll be as far south as y'all. Looking forward to your Ride Report since my trip will be less sight seeing and more brief visiting on the trip out.

Looking forward to it. I'm curious if I'll get any improved mpg going from the Cobras back to stock, especially with the gas prices creeping just up in time for the big trip...

Heading out tomorrow morning due eastbound.

Looking forward to the trip, my last Inzane was Eureka Springs.

Got a text update from my buddy in western OK (first overnight stay) "temp tomorrow 105". That gets especially ripe coming across the TX Panhandle during the heat of the day and then remains burnt in the nasal passages lonnnng after.

Y'all ride safe, look forward to seeing you in VA.

I like the Boss bags you have. They are a great set of bags if you want that leather look. I had a pair on my Valk and I like that they are lockable or if you want you can remove them. Your Valk is looking really sharp.  cooldude  cooldude  cooldude

Thanks Ron. I've had them for a good 18 years and they have held up and served me well. Sadly, I didn't go with the lock-closed option way back then (but don't tell anybody).  Roll Eyes  So far so good.

Wishing you guys cool sailing down south.

Sure hope I can get to sleep tonight...
