Well, got the alternator out in about an hour from the start...took it apart and was really dirty...Brushes looked good...rubber dampers looked good...Cleaned every thing really good...put it back together...during install, the tuff  part was lining up the front blades to the dampers...but it wasn't too difficult...in fact, I didn't even use one cuss word...cranked right up...seems I didn't mess any thing up...I do think next time I will trim the 4 bolts with the nuts on the back...While I had it off, I cleaned the rear engine parts...really needed it...I did forget to add another ground wire from the engine while I had it off...would have been a lot easier when the alternator was removed...Oh well live and learn...!!! I just love the Valkyries...!!!
