I let my Valk sit too long and ended up with trouble. I need to get the carbs rebuilt. Was going to do it myself but work gets in the way. Live in N Alabama. Anyone know of someone in the area good at this? Thanx a bunch!

If she will run at all, maybe try the gas additive treatment.

Call Bob "Then Attic Rat" Smith he is down in Tulsa, OK you can take them off and send them down to him and he will rebuild them, hell they just may need cleaning and he can do that too, he has a ultrasonic that he uses to clean parts, he knows carbs better then just about anyone and he know the Valkyrie better them anyone.

It won't run. My wife came down sick and I let it sit for about 1 1/2 years. The old gas ate up the petcock and tank. Luckily I had installed a filter and that saved the muck from getting to the carbs. I relined the tank (then found an NOS one painted) got a new petcock and also new float valves, lines and viton for all the o-rings etc in the carbs. Just haven't got the time to do the tedious part. There is a good set of videos from a guy out in Judsonia Ark;  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ITyszhh4XHs but that is too far for me right now. What I'd really like to is trailer it to someone to do the carbs and put everything back together...

What part of Bama you in? I've done several carb cleanings and also the hydrolock fix where you have to pull the motor.

Trailer it to me and I can do them for you. I also have a digisync to get them just right.
