Scattered showers and thunder storms are forecast for Laconia on Wednesday. Thursday should be the better day. I'll be going up that day. I would be happy to meet other riders at the Hooksett, NH Rest Area on I-93 between 7:45 and 8:15 on Thursday morning. Terry, looking forward to seeing you and your Crew up there.  cooldude

I'm really looking forward to it!

Tony, it's your pics that's given me the 'bad rap'  !!!
I'll probably be rolling solo...I'm hoping to arrive @ 9:30.
I'll search the strip, waterside for you.
Looking forward to seeing your new wing Tony....

Thursday's forecast from here Tony, looks like I'd be riding
in the remnants of Wed , Wed night, and Thursday's rain....
I will monitor the weather closely, and make my decision as time draws nearer.
I did notice Tuesday was a bright and sunny day....which really caught my attention !!!

I made a run over yesterday.  Didn't see anything I hadn't seen before.  Did meet a nice gentlemen with a yellow & cream Standard with Cobra 6 into 6.

Terry - Route 35 between Windham and Standish is in complete rebuild.  Dirt for about two miles.  Otherwide roads were in good shape.

The authorities were letting cars drive and park along Lakeside Avenue so caution as always is the name of the game.

Very low percentage of return waves.  One three car collision.  Lots of public safety officials there and along the route.

Tony - Thursday is MC only on the big rock.  Nice test for the new Wing.

Tuesday morning I am first in line at Helibars with my Wing.

I'm not able to go on Tuesday because of a work commitment. Currently, it looks like any remaining rain will clear your area early Thursday morning, at least by 7 AM if not earlier. I know your planning on leaving about 4:30. Not sure if it will clear by then. As you ride west, you should get out of any remaining rain.

If Tuesday is better for you, then go for it. You've waited a bit to get back in the saddle for a Laconia ride and you should enjoy it.

I usually shoot Rt 202 from Augusta to across the state line and into NH Andy....
Then meander my way north to the big pond...
Thanks for the road report.

Not sure if you have the potential for flexibility in your job and could switch your day off to Thursday. I'm taking vacation for my day off.

I am going to make Thurdsay if possible.   Had an overheat problem on the I/S last Friday and changed out the thermostat on Sunday.  Need to button it back up and give it a shake down ride but Thursday is the only day that I can see making the ride up.

Bernie, you going to come out and play?

I hope so, too. They've had plenty of time to repair it. We'll talk on Thursday.

Between 9 and 9:30. It's about 2.5 hours from my house. For you at least 4.5 hours right? We've got all day to hang so feel free to arrive later, sleep more and hopefully avoid left over showers. There's always parking spots in the paved lot down on the beach before you cross the bridge by the Weirs sign. Typically only $5, which isn't bad.

The latest weather model run show there's a good chance that showers will clear your area by about 5 AM. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for ya.  cooldude

With my stamina not quite up to par, I'm looking at a 5 hour ride Tony.....4 hours to the state line
Was hoping to get parked with you guys.....lower parking is where I usually end up.
I am planning on a 4am launch from here.....
Also wanting to stop into the Broken Spoke after I leave Weird Beach , that's where parking is a mess !!!

Andy...I remember looking at those Helibars when they were set up at Meredith HD a few years ago.
Just couldn't find that 'comfort zone' I was in search of.....
Hope you have better luck that I....

Seeing the bars on your HD I understand why. Evil

When I was there Saturday there was a guy having a set installed on his Road King.  The ones that came off were almost as high as yours but he wasn't; maybe 5'6" and 150 soaking wet.

Only 160 miles or so since install including Hurricane Mountain Road and Evans Notch.  Everything as expected so far.  Probably try a few more tweaks just to be sure.

Not going to be a day where a lot of skin is showing. It will be a cool morning ride for all. In Laconia it's forecast to be mostly cloudy and not get must past 70 if at all. Oh well. We'll dress for it.

Saturday is the day to go to see skin. Sunny and high 80s. It was the same last year when I went with Bernie, very hot. I wish I could go Saturday but I can't this year.  Undecided  I like it hot!

I'm sure there will be plenty visible thru clothing tomorrow Tony....
We all like the hot weather while at Laconia for the very same reason....
Local weatherman just showed weather for tonight and tomorrow....
Should be a dry ride over or me....
Tee shirt weather it is.....70's is just dandy, my crotch won't sweat !!!
