Just spent the money to get 2 Sena 20S and 2 Freewire units to allow wireless comes with my wife whether she is on her Valkyrie Trike or on the back my Interstate.  Getting echo on every word we say and our Goldwing friends that use the same units said to turn off the Intercom that it was feeding back threw the system when connected to the bikes.  Looked in manual and Google and nothing.  Does anyone know how to turn off the Intercom on an Interstate?

Thanks,

Dan & Trish

I looked over the radio control section of the owners manual that I've scanned to PDF, and other then volume, nothing else is said about the intercom.

No I don't let me tell you what I found on my 98 Tourer. The fuzzy picture shows the CB that came on my Valk. I put a mp3 player in the right bag and plugged it into the cables allowing me to adjust the volume using the control for the CB. That helps lowering the volume at stop lights, etc. I was getting some feedback. Playing with the Mode button Com would appear. Pushing the set lever down it lowered the number that comes on the screen at 5 to 0 no more feedback.

Maybe your Interstate has some hidden adjustments not listed in your manual.

Can't see how a wireless headset could be getting feed back from the intercom system unless your using two headset systems and are plugged into the intercom jack.
