The Landmass Between Mobile And New Orleans

Just heard the National Hurricane Center has placed South Mississippi under a Hurricane Watch. Time to start prepping even though the forecast models show Ida falling apart due to colder water in the Gulf, a cold front and wind shear.  When dealing with tropical weather, that beotch Katrina taught me a very hard lesson.  I lost almost everything I owned.  The silver cloud was losing my work car.  That caused me to buy my 1st motorcycle, a '98 Honda Shadow 750 ACE in Oct. '05.  Learned to ride then moved to a '01  Honda Shadow 1100 ACE Tourer a year later and my Valkyrie in June '07.  Oh well, time to gas up all the vehicles BEFORE the gas prices scream up.

What a bummer, Marty!  Hopefully she dies a peaceful death in the Gulf before landfall.
