Another day, another question.  My I/S fairing has clear plastic "wings" on the lower sides that are screwed to the bottom side edge of the fairing.  They have become somewhat hazy but they are not listed on the OEM parts lists.  As I am the second owner, maybe they were an aftermarket?  Anyway,  would like to dehaze them or replace them if anyone has a source.   Thanks

A couple years ago, I got a pair of replacement dark smoke lower fairing wings from Bob Smith the Attic Rat (I believe in OK).  He can be found on the site.

The originals (and fork wings) are some of the softest stuff ever made, and over time, they get all hazy/cloudy, scratched up and generally crappy looking.  I suppose they might be buffed out, but I was never able to get any improvement just doing it by hand.

I dehaze headlight assemblies with Mother's brand Mag and Aluminum polish. Use round ball in drill.
