HI Rich, ya I went to the doctor yesterday. He increased my Gabapentin from 300mg to 600mg 3 times a day. I get an cortisone injection on the 12. It's a process that I have to try over the next few months to see what works. Last resort would be back surgery to as the doctor put it rotor rooter my vertebrae to give my nerves more room. Hopefully this is something I can avoid.

Thanks for asking Rich. It was great following you adventure up to Alaska.

Does not sound like any resolution in the short time. Looks like it will be a long process. Hopefully the change in med dosages will help the pain and do some long term goodness. Surgeries today do some wonderful things, as you know.

The Alaska trip was fun, but did have a bit of a bad ending. I went to start the bike and it would not start. Never an indication of a problem. Starter would only go slow and pulled the voltage real low, like a short. Thought it might be battery, but jumped and acted the same. This was in nowhere British Columbia. The owner of the motel was so nice, he took me 50 miles to the next town to get a UHaul rental van. In two days I drove 1200 miles to a friends home north of Salt Lake City, where I met my wife driving our truck. Rented a small enc losed trailer to get back home. Took the bike to the dealer, where the damn thing started???? Not happy with that result. They will start a number of times and see if an issue develops.
