Valve stem support?

Just to throw a spanner in the works. Why has nobody fitted straight ones?

I will replace when I change the tires this said the tires only have about 450 miles on them so it might be a while!  Keep in mind the bike is a 98 and currently has about 4050 miles total on it.  The tires are about a year old and in new condition.  The valve stems appear to have been replace with the tires a year ago but the support I must have cracked while checked tire pressure.

Because right angled are easier to get an air line on to?

Not all shops carry metal stems, supports, etc. I've already experienced the stem failure w/o the support due to my ignorance and the shops but they fixed it for free. Found the supports on EBay 10 for $15! Basically remember to plan for the tire changes as you are going to be the one dealing with the failure. Mine happen a 1/8 of a mile off a I65 ramp and a local GW rider on his way to Iowa came back to help me

Because right angled are easier to get an air line on to?

Yes I know that but every tyre shop would carry straight valves. It’s tight inflating my GL1100 but possible. Just saying !!!!

If you could post a link this would be great I spent $15 for two and then lost them before I could install them.  I would be happy to buy 10 for $15.  I just tried to search for them but no luck!
