how about cobras is there a spot on the tire to go by when mounting the tire when new i did not think there was a dot???  how about 3.5 oz. on the rear to balance the tire. they put 3 1oz clipons on the rim plus 2-- 1/4 once stick on..  i called avon and they said anything over 2.1/4 once  is to much. has anybody had any trouble with the new cobras as far as balancing when new. i will write more on this this is the tire that got sent from avon directly more later

I don't know.

I should be getting a new cobra on the front Mon or Tue.

I'll check it for this.

Thats what happened to me when I did my rear Cobra. So I also called Avon got the same thing and I took the tire back off and took it to the shop I had it mounted at. Told them the story and they took a little time and got the weight down by repositioning the tire on the rim. When I do car tires its the same thing. When I first got the tire back it was around 2 3/4 ounces of weight the second time was at 1 1/2 quite a bit of difference. This is what Avon wants you to do. If by playing with it you cant get the weight down you can send it back but most of the time it should work. You can also try the Dyna beads. Wont be able to tell how much weight you are using but it should balance them
