What To Clean Fork Parts With?
«

I’m rebuilding my forks and got new seals, dust shields, bushings, Progressive Springs, and Honda SS-8 Fork Oil. I have the left one apart, but it has some grit in it. What should I use to clean off the parts?

Hi, you can use anything that dissolve oil like varsol or paint thinner. I use a stick and rag to get inside the bottom of the tube and then I clean with brake cleaner.
