Don't see it as much of a seller, either.  Would rather find a Rune in good condition and without those awful radiator pods.

I'd be shocked. The dealers are still trying to unload '14 & '15 models. I think it will be a while before they come back to it.

Ditto.

IMO, any big bike needs to be able to tour. The people who want big bikes also want to RIDE them, not just to the bar and back. If you want a bar hopper, you’ll buy a Harley, so you can sit at the cool guys table.

Throw the 1833 into a Goldwing frame/suspension, put on a big tank, saddle bags and a passenger backrest or trunk...you’d have something that makes more sense. I think there’s a market for a non-Goldwing Goldwing (sans plastic). I’d have bought one if there was the option.

Agreed, needs to be able to tour and carry a passenger. AND....get rid of those double ugly exhausts. What's wrong with those people?

I doubt any rendition of a Valkyrie will ever come back out. All someone did was take a rune, put the goldwing mono shock up front and the new valkyrie pods on it and said it was a new one. Apparently someone did not do their homework, there are still 2014's sitting at dealers.  Why would they come out with something even uglier than the last one that did not sell?

The mock-up looks ridiculous... but they already have a new wing with a
trunk, one with just bags, I think it make perfect sense to make a naked
one too...

That thing is so ugly next to a 2018 Gold Wing DCT; most of dogs I know would lift their leg on it.
A loser for sure. crazy2

All depends on personal taste.   I still don't like those side pods but, at least the engine stands out on it.
Maybe Mother Honda is listening......

Why does it have front and side radiators.  Is it real or......  if not a front radiator then just looks?

Wish they would just make another Hotrod!  That's what the Valkyrie was, a hotrod.  Big spectacle of a chromed out engine sitting in the black frame exposed for all to see and marvel.  Long fat chromed pips going 3 into 1 on each side is badass.

Why not do that again.  Make a big ground pounding hotrod with today's technology.  Like a restomod.  Classic styling with looks and gobs of power and sound, yes sound!

I'm still not convinced this "concept" isn't just someone's Photoshopped RuneValk.

I hope y'all are right otherwise Honda will be giving these away a few years after launch just like the current cat catcher version.

Couldn't agree more. The original Valks are still considered fast at 21 years old. My F6B is not 21 years and 300cc faster than my Valk, and it should be. The new Wings top out at 112 MPH, WTH?

If Honda is going to build another new Valk it needs to look like a muscle bike, be comfortable enough for 800+ mile days and be fast enough to still demand respect 20 years from now. I love my Valk and my F6B but the average new HD will be faster than both of them in the not too distant future. The 2018 HDs may well outrun the new Wings on top end right now.  Embarrassed

Agree. I rode my 2018 Wing with a bunch of Valkyrie’s at Valhalla, and while my bike was faster, it wasn’t by a huge margin. It should be.

I will disagree on the top speed being a big deal, for me anyway. I test rode a 2018 Ultra Limited and I assure you, there is no situation where it matters that it can compete with the Wing, at least not without every “stage” upgrade ever invented and a rebuild every year. I haven’t been over 100 mph since my younger stupider sport bike days and I don’t plan on doing it again. I like my bike and my life outside of the back of a cop car or courthouse. To each his own though. Noting wrong with winding it up on a long straight stretch of empty road...but idiots who do it in traffic weaving in and out give us all a bad rep.
