Has anyone ever gone to one of the European Inzanes. This something I am considering for my retirement in a few years and started wondering what all is involved.

I've thought about that myself, though little chance I would go over and buy a bike, then sell before I leave.

I think one thing helpful would be to find and save the various EU Valk websites, and log in and lurk and/or ask questions.  (Most are in native languages, but someone will likely answer questions)

f6gal and Pyscho did a couple years ago. I keep meaning to ask them about it. I think it would be a blast. Them guys look like they know how to party.

We went last year.  We rented Valkyries from a guy in Frankfurt.

We're also planning to go next year.  But I'm investigating purchasing a couple of bikes to store in Europe.  So we will have them available whenever we want to go over there.  I wasn't all that comfortable riding a bike that wasn't mine.  Of course mine are lowered.

Jess, you could come out ahead if you purchase here and ship it over.  You can sell it for much more over there.

I know, but that would be more work than I would be interested in.

And they won't let me wear a half helmet, so that's that.

But attending some of those parties would be fun.   cooldude

Last time I drove in Germany, I got in trouble with the Air Force.  It seems someone had removed the dash sticker on the old blue AMC beater they gave me (that said I was only allowed to go 55, no matter what the speed limit was, or if they even had one).  What's the fun in that?

It all started when I told the motor pool chief the front end alignment was terrible on the Autobahn, and the car became nearly uncontrollable at 100mph.   Grin

I had a little trouble with the ausgang and ausfahrt too.

Ausfahrt is about the only word I remember... LOL.  The Autobahn was sooo awesome.  No worries about watching for cops while riding ridiculous speeds.
