If all goes as planned I will be passing through Northern, Louisiana this Friday (7/20).

At the moment I'm looking at this place in Shreveport, LA:

https://www.yelp.com/biz/herby-ks-shreveport

My planned route has me passing through on these roads:

https://www.google.com/maps/dir/Atlanta,+TX/Natchez,+MS/@32.3278175,-93.9059466,8z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m16!4m15!1m5!1m1!1s0x8634246a171ad393:0xf97ba8b547d3b8b2!2m2!1d-94.1643537!2d33.1137419!1m5!1m1!1s0x8625f71798a3ffab:0x549369f079ae24da!2m2!1d-91.403171!2d31.5604442!2m1!1b1!3e0?hl=en

I know that this bunch likes to eat, and as far as I'm concerned there is no better eating than good authentic Cajun food.

So if anybody knows of any great places to eat along this route let me know.

That's the same one that I had found.

Probably means that it should be the one.

I was kind of hoping that someone knew of a good hole in the wall that let me avoid Shreeveport though.

Now mind you I wuz in an 18 wheeler and it has been a day or three ago BUT I seem to recollect a little mom and pop place on the north side of I-12 close to Baton Rouge. Sorry cain't come up with a name but I remember when you walked in it were brightly lighted inside and NONE of the tables and chairs matched. Very Early garage sale décor but the food was EXCELLENT. Nother place near Slidell in a whse district Very similar to the place in B R-early garage sale décor and EXCELLENT food. Sadly alas and alack cain't dredge up the Names of these places!  uglystupid2 And NO I did Not peruse yer itinerary so if I'm outa the ball park apologies. And apologies fer fergitten the names!  crazy2 Hope ya find a cursed good place to tie on the feed bag!  cooldude As I have Not seen Bruce-DDT-respond maybe P M him? Or call him if ya have his number? RIDE SAFE.

Went to Herby K's on Friday.

The food was really good,

Since it was 104F on the ride there I'm not sure what was better the food or the cold beer.
