Thanks TJ its still hard to deal with even though I am now 71 and she was almost 98.  She passed peacefully and was not in pain and had made all of her arrangements many years ago.  I feel like there was a big homecoming in heaven yesterday with all of the family that has gone on before us including my Dad.

Terry, I know how it feels, been there but the passing of my parents was reversed. Dad finally passed at 93 and it was like I had lost the anchor to my boat in heavy seas. I agree, the homecoming will be a wonderful thing. Prayers for those left behind.

Terry, sorry to hear about your Mom. Our prayers go out to you and all the family.
Not one of us is here forever, and you can look forward to your reunion with her and the rest of the family in a few years.

I'm very sorry for your lost, Nick.  You were very fortunate to have your Mom for as long as you did.  She and your Dad are in a far better place than here.  Good memories last a long time.  Even the small ones.  Thoughts and prayers going out to you and your family.

Also sorry to hear of your loss. As I have said before 2018 has not been a kind year at all.
Amazing that your Mom was 98! I cannot imagine all of the amazing memories she created for you. You are a lucky man indeed to have had her for all this time.
Here is to hoping that the smiles from the fond memories will replace the sadness of your loss as quickly as possible.  cooldude
