Well we left our rental car and took a prop plane on the shortest flights ever off the Lofoten islands to Bodø. It is said by locals more like Buda. This is like a long layover and then off to Sweden. The past three nights were spent a short walk from one of the most photographed spots in all Norway. Here we met up with Valksters Per and Else, who like Raymond and Lill in Sortland, both ride their own Valks/Wing. The summer house Per and Else owns was literally two short blocks from the Rorbuer (was a fishermans house said more like a strange way to say root beer) we booked six months ago! Per took us out on his boat as seen in some pics, he also is a part time boat guide when in town on a larger boat (pictured right outside our window at the Rorbuer) and we decided The following day to book the 6 hour cruise that went to the other side of the south end of the island that is no longer inhabited (pics with misty mountain tops). We were invited over to their house one late evening where we meet many of their neighbors, we had a great time and belly aches from laughing so hard! We walked home to our fish house at 2am (selfie and Sherry walking down the street). Weather has been fantastic with the only rain day so far was the day we had to drive from Sortland to Reine (Rain-A). So now in Bodø and we will meet up with yet another Wing couple tomorrow night. So say what you want about FB, on the other side of the globe and all told will meet up with four different couples who share the same love as we do! Wonderful people who open their homes to us.
