Story Time here
The Valkyrie jacket. Well, we definitely have a story here. The Swedish Valkyrie chapter is very low, our understanding is, The Valk was sold in Norway, Germany, Poland and other places here but not Sweden. Staffan our Drifter friend is now intrigued with Valks, maybe I rub off a little. Ok, a lot. He was looking at the Swedish Blocket page and found a Jacket for sale, the guy wanted 900 crowns at first and then 600 then he finally said free to someone who really wanted it, just pay for the ad and shipping. Staffan called the seller and explained the Jerry Sherry visit story and that I always wanted the Swedish patch and he drove an hour out of his way to come and deliver the jacket personally and meet us Valkyrie nerds. He has long given up his pride bronze Valk and wanted the jacket to go to someone that would really appreciate it. While enjoying Fika (coffee and Pastries) in the back yard Staffan was discussing with Nills the price Jerry is to pay in Swedish, and he said before I say a price, he said Jerry, look in the inner pocket, when I did I found another smaller Valk Sweden patch. So we negotiated up for the extra drive and patch with us trying to pay more. All told we had a great time and paid 500 crowns, $50 and received a nice leather jacket as well.
