To be good, and to do good, is all we have to do.

I will be working up in The Woodlands the week of Sept. 24th, heading down from Colorado.

I think I will be in the threshold between it being to hot, and cooling down.

What are your thoughts/experiences riding that time of year north of Houston?
 - Will I be hot, or will it be just right?

I live in Tomball Tx just around the corner from Woodlands.    End of Sept should be mid 80s for a high and probably 72 or 73 lows  Our weather fluctuates so much nothing is certain.   You riding or driving?

You have at least an average chance of it being mildly hot, or possibly very humid.
In addition it could be really hot and humid... 2funny

If you are lucky, it might be just right, but I would not bet on it. At this time of year it changes  a lot!

I'm not in the Houston area, so take this with a grain of salt.  I don't like riding in or through Houston.  Even though it adds lots of time and some miles, I take a loop around it to get south of there if I'm on a bike.

There is also not a lot to look at between Pueblo and there.

If it were me, I'd fly and rent a car or drive.

I don't like riding in or through Houston.

Of course, the Woodlands area is north of Houston, so you won't have to go through or around Houston at all if you don't choose to.  How long will you be in the area?

That was my thought. With The Woodlands being north of Houston I wouldn't have to fight traffic.

My northern cutoff line on I-45 is Conroe and The Woodlands is just south of there.
