It looks like an above I-30 for some 300 miles or so--Tyler state park as a meet up point is the western point just of north of ..I-30....the next day or weekend the southern 400 or so miles below I-30..anyone interested ??? ..DELORME makes some 50 page ATLAS's of all the states...about $10

google "Texas Forest Trail..motorcycle ride.." A nice write-up by some Beemer riders.

I did most of trail north of I-20 and it was pretty good-to the west was more county roads --narrow and some canopy so  45 mph was prudent cooldude-it just got better the farther east I went--great color....I look forward to doing most of the southern part below I-20 in the next few weeks--work and weather allowing

After your first post, I googled "Texas Forest Trail" and came up with
lots of hits about the Texas Forest Trail Region... seems like a good place
to ride  cooldude
