It's time for our monthly meeting again.  We had good attendance in July in Grapevine and we did pretty well last month in The Colony, despite the weather.  Where should we go this month?

Any new ideas?  Any old ideas we haven't been to in a while?

Weather permitting, I have an idea for a ride Sunday:  One of the Pilot Point police officers has been stricken with Stage 4B Lymphoma and there is a benefit BBQ lunch from noon - 2p.  I happen to know a nice loop between there and fried pies near Gainesville and back.

Although the forecast for this week looks a bit wet, the Summer temperatures finally seem to be giving way to Autumn.   cooldude

I will be transitioning between Austin and Stillwater, OK on Thursday night, so count me out.   That should keep the rain away.  2funny

Thanks, Dave, for getting this started.  Was hoping to see your new sled at the meeting, but, duty calls!

Sunday, will be tied up with the Dallas Cowboys, so can't make the ride.  I do need to test out the new to me Progressive Air Shocks sometime soon!

We are game for Thursday night meeting.
How about somewhere in Grapevine? Back to Fuddrucker's.
Easy to find, to get to, and the noise is not to load so you can hear each other talk.

On the other hand: Meet, eat and catch some tunes:
Me and My Monkey, the local Beatles tribute band is playing.
Sep 13    Thursday    Colleyville Concert Series   (Plaza next to City Hall)     100 Main  St.   Colleyville, TX  76034    7pm
Does anybody know a place near there to eat?

And Speedo is interested in the Sunday ride

Fuddrucker's Grapevine works for me.  See whoever is there at 7p.

Let's keep Sunday as a possibility, but the forecast for rain has been increased to 60%.
