The more I speak with those around me regarding the issues of late with the political process the more I am finding out that the greater percentage are siding with most of those here. I am not finding except for an occasional person a wanting or willingness to go along with the sham that has this nomination in the forefront.

I am reminded again and again that the media, political groups and certain of those in government have been manipulating the appearances and narrative of these events. Just like Trump was not going to win, was a definite by the polls.

I also think that the left has this time made it clear, what would happen under their rule. Its a scary thought that I think most of late are seeing the problems associated with it.

I believe real soon we are going to see some real events take place that will shake the very foundation of the lefts idols. They know its coming and we will see the real truth of what has happened to this country.

And this is what a lot of people didn't get.  It was not just about delaying or stopping Justice Kavanaugh's confirmation but also about positioning the voting public for midterm elections.

If you think the democrat senators reacted wrongly you need to get to the polls when it's time.  They have successfully attracted a lot of votes from middle ground folks who listen to and believe the "news".

Every election in the future is important. So do your part, vote.
It is also important to stop all tampering with the vote and illegal voting.
Failure to do all of the above will result in a USA we will not want to live in.

Just found out Amy Schumer's arrest in the DC protests was an honest mistake. Schumer was one of the liars who claimed she'd move out of the country if Trump were elected (Spain, in Amy's case) and when ICE couldn't find any paperwork on her coming back to the US they assumed she was illegal. They're going to drop all charges if she agrees to go peacefully back to Spain. Spain has agreed to take her if she brings along her money.

A quick search does not reveal she has filed any charges, but did reveal a group of MD lawmakers are calling on Montgomery County MD authorities to open an investigation without her filing charges.

The MD governor already ruled out a State Police investigation back in Sep.

While there is some debate on this, the statute of limitations (in effect at the time, and still applicable, even if later changed) still likely bars any prosecution.

With any luck, we will never hear from her again.  (Unless it's a perjury prosecution)

I agree, Graham doesn't even seem like the same old person these days.  He seems more comfortable and happier with his new-found conservatism.

I also have to admit that Flake's demand for the extra investigation turned out to be a good move.  I don't think Collins would ever have become such a strong supporter, and made that great speech, without the confidence she got from the FBI's report.  I think Trump and McConnell jumped on it so quickly because they knew there was nothing to hide, and it would help with a few wavering senators.
