Someone told me this is a good place to take the bike to have it checked out. Does anyone have any experience with them good or bad. They are on 5th street in highland

I'm very good friends with the owners of Highland Cycles. Paul Jr has taken over the business last January and is working hard to give his customers the best service. His father kind of gave the shop a bit of a bad rap for some customers and Paul Jr. is changing that. I have helped them with some of the Valkyrie issues they have come across. Give Paul a chance and tell him Mac sent you.

Thanks Dave

Great, I go over there almost every Tuesday and Friday just to hang out with Paul and some friends. Your welcome of course to come over and hang as well. I'll be there next Friday for sure and I'll check out your bike. If it's raining we just come in our cars. Oh by the way there's always coffee and donuts.

Not too bad. I like the smaller shops. You get more attention out on the needs you have for your bike. Paul was very nice and listened to what the probs I had were and helped me and my wife look up some stuff she wanted to know about. I've been workin 6 days a week so I don't wanna wrench on my bike when I am done at work wrenchin on buses all day so I think he will be my permanent mechanic for the bike

Dave, I usually do a ride on Tueday's because my wife has a lot of things she does every week. Was by there about noon today and did not see your truck, so did not stop.

Looking forward to good news from you in a few weeks after your operation.

Thanks Rich, I was there until 12:45. Did you see a blue F6B in front? That was me. Should find out Thursday to find out about my back and hopefully get a time frame on my surgery.

Well, bummer....assumed you were not riding your bike and only looked for your truck. Had lunch at In-n-Out down the street.

Saw you bike today Chris. Nice looking bike to be sure. What time do you think you'll be picking it up on Sat. Maybe I can be there and talk with you.

Was great seein you today Dave. Thanks for your advice on cb. Looks like that's where he had it behind the battery cause it almost slid right in. Had to cut very little. It works great now. Took me about 20 min to install the CB.
