I'm looking at upgrading my rear brake line to one of the stainless braided versions.

The front lines were done by the PO, so that end is covered.

I looked at it today, and noticed that the banjo at the cylinder end looked kind of oddball.
The one at the caliper is a 'standard' offset, but the other one.......?

Has anyone here upgraded thier rear brake line? If so, did you manage to get a premade kit, or did you get the bits and assemble it yourself?

Any pointers, please?

Phil.

Wish I could help on the installation. I bought a '99 standard a couple of months ago and it has the chrome braided lines. Not sure when this happened but these look like crap, their real dull looking now.  Plus the front line attaches different on the lower triple tree  than stock and the main line, before the split block, kinks when you go to "lock" to the right.  This can't be good!

I'm going to put it back to the stock rubber lines.  I got some off of ebay a few weeks ago.

Remember, if you are on a bike and wreck with a car no matter how "in the right" you are you are going to lose. RIDE LIKE EVERBODY IS OUT TO GET YOU!!
