I see lots of picture posts on FB and all mine are of the earlier part of the day as I was just too busy to think about pictures at one point. Nonetheless it was a great turn out and wow did we go through the cheeseburgers, tater tots, hot dogs, home made peach cobbler and homemade apple pie. Man Pappy you missed a big one.

J & S,
Thanks for another great gathering! You folks are really special, and you make a major difference to our Florida group. We all truly appreciate all you do, and we thank you very much for the time, effort, and expense; but, most of all, we sincerely and deeply appreciate the friendship!!!

Thank you so much for all the time and effort putting the " Cottage Gathering " together. It's fun to see everyone and meet the new comers to the Fl. group. What a great day!!! Sherry, your apple pie certainly lived up to it's reputation. It was excellent. Can't forget a thank you to Burt for bringing the peach cobbler. Well done " Grill Master Nick ".

Trust me when I tell you that y'all had a much better day than Lesa and I.......... All day long I was wishing we were doing anything other than what we "obligated" ourselves to do.

I sure wish folks would quit posting pics on Farcebook only. Many of us aren't living by social media intervention, in fact I seldom carry my cell phone unless I'm leaving the house or outside where Rita can't call me on the baby monitor. Just don't feel the need to share my daily experiences with the population. Yes, I'm getting older, but I didn't need all that junk to get this far.

I am sorry that I couldn't stay longer but enjoyed the hospitality of the host and the fellowship with the other riders.

Purfect day for a Valk Gathering! Jerry & Sherry you guys are so Awesome for opening up your place again. It was well planned and orchestrated. I want to thank all that took part in helping pull this Great Day together. Bill, Steve and myself really enjoyed it all. Steve's first visit and ride of any length down to the Gathering and he was so happy. He really was impressed with everyone and the Hospitality he received. Thank you all. I tried to reach out to most all that was there now that I'm recognizing you after my 3rd Valk Gathering. You all look great and so do your Valkyries. All of them! We got back to Milton around 4 o'clock today. It was a great ride back leaving Lake City on Hway 90 going west. If any of you are planning a trip this way send me a PM. Thanks again.

John, I believe the photos not being posted here has part to do with the hosting sites starting to charge a fee for the links. I know there was a ruckus on Photoshop, I also believe the amount of time one has to spend using a third party hosting is another factor. It is simply not near as easy as FB, I have listened to some who used to post lots of pictures in that they were hoping someone else would take it for a wile, and I agree it can’t be the responsibility of the same ones all the time so...... It is what it is.

Jerry, as you know, Postimage.org doesn't charge as you say. Once you download pics to your computer, assuming you like to save them, it takes seconds to load onto Postimage and less than 5 seconds to post here from there. Once on Postimage, it's three clicks and it's posted.....so everyone can see them. I've been using that site well over a year now with nary a problem. If you have multiple pics to download to Postimage, it downloads them all at the same time to Postimag. I've loaded over a half dozen at one time to a newly named file(have no idea what the limit is for multiples), then pick and choose from there which ones you want to post on VRCC. The time involved is insignificant, I tried FB a couple different times in recent years, most recently about two months ago, found it still a joke and deleted my account. I can load to Postimage from my computer faster, and from there to here in seconds....for everyone to see. Yes....it is what it is!

I would just like to thank all involved in Saturday's Valk get together. The weather couldn't have been better and the burgers and dogs were just great. The apple pie and peach cobbler lived up to their reputations. Everyone I talked to seemed really nice and friendly. The parts swap and sell was cool, too. I was heading there last November when I had my mc accident, so I'm glad to could make this one, which was only my second Valk event. Just as a side note, this goes to show that we can still have fun without having alcohol. I can appreciate that. Also, I'm glad that TC could make it. He is the reason why I have my Valk! Thanks, TC. Take care everyone and please be safe.

. Well John, where are the pics you took of the party posted? See maybe we need the John thinking to take up the non Facebook part of the relay, seeing you are not on FB. I will investigate this Postimage as I have never heard of it and is new to me. Sounds like a good thing.

Jerry, taking pics isn't my thing. As for never hearing of Postimage, you apparently don't go on the main board. That site has been discussed at length, especially since Photobucket stuck it to those of us that were using it...well over a year ago. Many members started using it, myself included. For example, when logged into Postimage one could create a file with a name like "Nov. 3, 2018 gathering" then upload all pics taken into that file. Once loaded, click on a picture to post and click "share", next screen click the proper line and it will say "copied", next put your cursor on the VRCC spot you want the picture to appear and click "paste". When you preview it, the pic shows. Do that numerous times on a single post, one underneath the other or space them so as to add a comment or explanation. One post with numerous pics.

Jerry n Sherry thanks for putting on a great get together!! My favorite food of the day is Sherry"s Amish Apple Pie Jack n Larue both of your bikes are truly awesome!! I met Ali & Bruce (DDT). Ali was not the prettiest girl there but I could not stop staring at her. She is a legend. I bet she could tell some stories with over 600,000 miles on her. This Fall Fest is getting pretty big it soon might morph into a Saturday n Sunday event with a sleep over.

I will definitely give it a go as I am not very fond of Photobucket nor drop box. I sure would like a platform that will let me organize in groups better as well.

Based on John's recommendation a while back I went to Postimage as well. Absolutely simple to navigate and post photos with.
