Today was another day on my quest to put miles on Glenn’s new bike. We put in 330 miles today. We began in temps in the low 50’s and ended with temps in the low 70’s. We had clear skies and little to no traffic. We traveled to Phoenix to Superior to Winkelman to Globe to Roosevelt Lake then the Bee Line and home. We had a great time. Here are a few pics of the trip.

Coffee stop in Winkelman

Overlook of the Mescal Mountains to the east of Hwy 77

Lunch at the Burger House in Miami AZ

Can you say Green Chili?

The Tonto National Monument overlook

Lower Cliff Dwelling at the Tonto National Monument

Roosevelt Dam

Roosevelt Bridge. Love the reflection on the water

It was another great ride.  The Winkleman, Globe and Roosevelt lake ride is one of my favorites as well!
Great pictures as well!

Cool.  I am thinking maybe in March.  I have lots going on between now and the end of the year.  I am hoping to do Death Valley in February.

Great pics Ron! That's the same restaurant we use to hit for the 'Green Chili Burro Ride' isn't it? I love that ride too.

It sure is the same restaurant and just as good as the last time I was there. Was that you that had never been to the cliff dwellings at the lake until you did that ride with us? They have much better signs on the road these days. It was a little hard to find in the old days.
