Agreed. Thanks for the link.

I bought that one and look forward to using it.
Will not have a chance to use it till spring. Have been wanting to sync the carbs since I bought the bike. Past owner mentioned one carb had been replaced but no mention as to why. I rebuilt them all a summer ago and set the pilots but had no means to check the sync.
I tried an analog vac gauge with a 6 way air valve distributor but got way too much needle flutter. I tried closing the valves to reduce the needle flutter. No go. I bought an air snubber and never got around to trying again.
For you and any others that may want to use a gage or manometer arrangement, put a volume bottle in the line just before and the gage/manometer (or any other measuring device) to provide damping. To get accurate readings, all cylinders should be damped the same hence any damping device should be common to all cylinders.
The hookup to the measuring device should be volume bottle first, needle valve next and then the manifold.
Probably the easiest/cheapest volume bottle can be made from a capped piece of PVC pipe with installed barb fittings for the tubing. I would suggest that a piece of 3/4 PVC about foot long would be about right. The bigger the volume, the greater the damping.
As damping is increased, the sensitivity goes down. The measuring device needs to be left with a small amount of flutter.
