Rode about 215 miles today in the NW area of Houston.   Little Chilly this morning early but got better later in the day.    Over in the Independence Tx area there is a lot of history.   General Sam Houston raised his family there.   His wife is buried there and I recently found his sons grave.   Today on a backroad in that area I found this sign.    It is a historical sign posted on the side of a small road.  There is a creek right behind the sign.   I thought this was a cool thing to find.

God bless Sam Houston.   And may God protect his statue from the snowflakes.  Amen.
