Last month I was drooling over the new 2019 Roadie Special, blacked-out gunmetal grey denim....
I left my offer with the saleslady, and said; "call me if you want to sell that bike."  No call so far.....
And we were less than $3k apart

Yesterday while out riding around in the Rubicon, we just so happened to stop into a different dealership.  Well, lo and behold there was a 'hold over' 2016 CVO Roadie Ultra setting there, taking up valuable floor space.....
The Red Ruby / Palladium Silver color combo was really nice, except the solid silver lowers simply ached for a splash of red ....
When I left my phone # and price I was willing to pay, we were $5k apart....

From there we headed to a favorite bbq joint for a relaxing mid afternoon meal.....
Smoked ribs deep fried with a honey Jamaican jerk sauce...
Buffalo chicken wings....
Shrimp and smoked Andouille sausage jambalaya....
Sausage and pork bbq beans.....
And a couple local IPA brews to wash it down....

Snowshoeing is so much less expensive !!!!!   coolsmiley

Been doing the same thing. I have been shipped tot he Cape to work on the project we have going there. 16 miles of 12" coated steel pipe. There is about 6 more miles to go then the restoration. I'll be there till March. So as I had this short week at home I've been SUV/truck shopping. WTF is wrong with these people? I can buy a brand new pick up for the same price as one two years old with 20,000 miles on it. And the little SUVs cost the same if not more! Don't even look at the full size SUVs, my mortgage isn't even that much! Maybe I'll just nurse the Impala as long as I can and start looking a new motorcycles.
Good luck in your search YB, I'm partial to the CVO only because it's red.

I've been looking at the Chevy 2500 crew / 6' bed and the comparable Ford.  The prices simply bowl me over.  I've got 218K miles on the FIT and I think I'll just try to squeeze out another 100K

2500 Crew? I'd be happy with a 2500 single with a plow

We'll see if I get a call from the sales geek.....
Look for a good leased truck Paul.....My Dodge was a leased truck, 2 year lease and less than 20k miles.

Hard to say if they are willing to cut $5k off the reduced price.....
Sales geek said there isn't much profit margin on the CVO bikes !!!  Yeah right, I looked him in the
eyes and told him he was full of crap....He didn't take kindly to my comment.

I'd like to think they come down to my asking price.....I can not imagine the improvements over
my '08.

It is one sweet machine Dan....
The $hitty bars would need changing for a set of 16's, and some color added to the lowers....
Other than that, all would stay intact.
