Speedometer Gear Assembly
«
on:
January 07, 2019, 05:52:01 PM »
When I bought this Valkyrie, I was told the speedometer gear was cracked and needed to be replaced. I've seen mentions of people getting them for much cheaper than Partzilla... does anyone have a link to one? OEM or recommended aftermarket?
Thanks

I've never heard of a drive gear breaking. It might be a worn speedo cable.

My speedo just died suddenly last night. Haven't had a chance to look at it yet. I hope it's not the speedo itself.....

Probably the cable unless you've had the gearbox off recently.
