Right now school is a struggle, but I'm in the home stretch for the first semester.  Last exam is Dec. 19.  I've got the jumper cables on my brain, trying to awaken the cells that've been sleeping for 20 years.  Now how do I differentiate the diagonal matrix to use the determinant to determine if the graph of f(x) is concave up within the imaginary domain?

Evansville - is that where L'Hopital discovered the sp3d2 orbital of the third derivative?  AAAAEEEEAAAHHHH!!!!

2funny  Nope.  We discovered that you get wet by jumping in the Ohio River.  Wink

We respect what you're doing and know you'll be successful.  cooldude

cooldude Hang in there with school. I entered the college of engineering for a degree in electrical engineering in my 20's without the benefit of having taken chemistry, physics, trig or calculus. All I had for math in high school was a half-speed algebra that they called "related math" and I did poorly at that. What was I thinking!!  uglystupid2 The university didn't offer trig so I had to bone up on it on my own - while taking calculus. My grades were never great, except for in my major, but I made it! I even survived grad school. I've now been practicing engineering for over 30 years and wouldn't trade my career for anything! You'll rarely get rich in engineering but it's very rewarding. Good luck!

Here's a video from the Charleston County, SC Sheriff's Office website of a Motor School they did a few years ago.

Ron ( Normandog ) and I watched the Knoxville , Tennessee police department do a show at The Honda Hoot a few years ago.Up until seeing that I always thought if they got behind me I'd just run off a leave them ( they use Harleys ) but after watching the control they have with the motorcycle I think I'd just pull over  Wink

That would be the safest.   Next wave would be Black & Whites with Motorola's.

What's interesting to me is that even these highly accomplished riders look just about like the rest of us when they come off the bike.   Wink

At least there's one thing I can do that matches their skills.   cooldude

I was there also if it was the last year of the hoot. Free ice cream while watching.  Cool I wasn't a Valkyrie convert yet (had the Nomad then), but probably was drooling on both your bikes in the lot. See what it caused me to do.  Grin
