A question for those who have experience with a cold garage. This morning my garage was 11F, does the F6C need something warmer? This is my first water cooled. Kinda worried, on the bright side outside was -27F so there is that.

Thanks!

Mine sits in a shed here in South Carolina... it is 23 outside now. I think you are
fine if your antifreeze is good (test with a manometer or whatever).

Valkyries have six carburetors... keeping them from gumming up is a real
Valkyrie storage problem... I keep mine from gumming up by riding my
bike through the winter, but I live in South Carolina...

Thanks Mike! I run mine also thru the winter. I am probably worried about nothing. This mornings cool temps got my attention and I know that there are plenty of riders like yourself who have much more experence than me with these great machines!

I have never had any issues with either the 1500 Valk, or the 1800 Valk.  Both spent winters in a cold garage.

If global warming is happening...why is it so cold up here?

Better check your anti freeze and see how low it's protected to. Buy a checker at any auto store

Upstate New York Near Lake George

I am in upstate New York. Sub zero weather is common. When I put my 2014 Valk away for the winter I put in some fuel stabilizer, fill her up with NON-ETHENOL gas, take out the battery, cover her up in garage for a 4 month  slumber. I put the battery on a battery tender. Never had any problems for the spring start-up.

Thanks all!! The garage only went down to 1F for a while and everything worked out fine. I never owned a water cooled before and no problems. I start her up once or twice a month, after pre heating so all is good. We were up to 40F today so time to fire her up! Looking forward to spring.

Starting up several times a winter is harder on them than sitting because of the moisture created that stays in the motor and pipes. Gas additive, battery tender and leave it alone
