I lost a bolt for my large OEM Hondaline windshield this past fall. It is one of the front ones  that holds the plastic on.

I have tried 3 different Honda dealerships and several hardware stores with no luck.

Does anyone have an extra one or know exactly where I can get one?

Thanks!

Try National cycle windshields or a marine supply place.

The Honda shops you went to don't need to complain about people who buy stuff on
the Internet instead of from them!

Thanks for the reply, but the Partzilla link you provided was for a GL 1500 Tourer Windshield. I need a bolt for a GL 1800 Windshield.

D'OH! ...

Does this help? It shows all the bolts and their sizes.

http://powersports.honda.com/documentum/MW01/08R71-MJR-670.pdf

I put large handlebars on my 1800 and used other-than-OEM mounts for
my OEM windshield. It wouldn't surprise me if I had the bolt you need if
you really can't find it.

The ones that go through the chrome trim strips, right? They're the only screws
from the OEM windshield setup that I did use.

I guess they're "6 mm button head socket cap screws"...

Maybe this would help, even if you had to change out all four of them so
they'd continue to all look alike...

I think those would work.
I wonder what length I need.
I will have to check when I get home tonight.
Thanks for your help!!

The bolt is about 1.25” so I ordered the 30mm bolts.
The bolt head in the photo looks a bit smaller than what is currently on the windshield.
I may have to change all four bolts so they match.
Hope this works.
Thanks for all the help!!!
I’ll keep you posted...

Yes, please... I like to try and use OEM Honda fasteners as much as possible, and I bet
there's a place to look up the ones you need, but I couldn't find it. I used to know where
to look up part numbers for 1500 Valkyrie Hondaline accessories (like part numbers
for all the bits and pieces and spacers that make up a set of saddlebag rails), but I
couldn't find such a place for the 1800 windshield.

I don't guess I think that Hondaline bolts are better than other bolts, but I really like
these ones rather than a "generic" bolt with a washer...

The bolts I ordered fit just fine, but the heads of the bolts were only about half the size of the originals.
I tried them but they just didn’t look good.
I am still hoping to find an OEM bolt...

Thanks. May have to try this option. I had the parts guy at the local Honda Shop e-mail mother Honda to get me the bolts. They are supposed to be on the way. We will see..
